Summary
Dev Tools Pro is a fully sandboxed native macOS application. It collects no personal data, performs no tracking, and contacts no third-party analytics or advertising services. Everything you input and every result the app produces stays on your Mac.
Data we collect
None. The developer does not collect, transmit, or have access to any data you enter into the app.
Data the app stores locally
The app stores the following on your Mac only, using the standard macOS UserDefaults mechanism in the app sandbox:
- Your most recent tool selections and UI preferences.
- A history list (up to 100 entries) of operations you ran inside the app, including the input and output text you provided. This is visible only inside the "History" tool and is removable with the "Clear All" button.
This data never leaves your Mac. Uninstalling the app removes it.
Network access
The app uses network access only for explicit, user-initiated developer workflows. Network requests are made directly from your Mac to the destination you choose; no traffic is routed through the developer's servers.
- "JSON from URL" — fetches the URL you type in.
- "cURL Tester" — executes the cURL command you supply.
- "OpenAPI Beauty" — loads the embedded site at
openapi-beauty-docs.pages.dev(no other origins are allowed). - "Network Inspector" — loads the URL you type in and records its outgoing requests for your inspection.
File access
The app uses the com.apple.security.files.user-selected.read-write sandbox entitlement. It can only read or write files and folders you explicitly choose through the system Open or Save panel — for file-compare workflows, exporting Network Inspector reports as JSON or HAR, and saving files generated by the embedded OpenAPI Beauty viewer. The app never scans arbitrary directories.
Tracking and analytics
The app contains no analytics SDKs, no crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising frameworks, and no identifiers for tracking. Its privacy manifest (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy) declares no tracking, no tracking domains, and no collected data types.
Children
Dev Tools Pro is a general-purpose developer utility and is not directed at children under 13.
